Loren Eugene Bogart
RAYMORE, Mo. -- Loren Eugene
Bogart, 58, Raymore, Mo., died Friday, Oct. 22, 2004. Mr. Bogart was born Jan.
9, 1946, in Salina. He was a retired sergeant for the Kansas Highway Patrol and
later a security officer for Shawnee Mission Medical Center. Survivors include
his wife, Ruth, of the home; a sister, Louise Robb of Salina; a brother, Steve
Bogart of Lansing; four children, Kelly Marten of Valley Center, Kirk Alexander
of Andover, Amy Burton of Belton, Mo., and Jay Bloodworth of Raymore, Mo.; and
nine grandchildren. A service will be at 7:30 p.m. Monday at McGilley State Line
Memorial Chapel, 12301 State Line Road, Kansas City, Mo. A memorial service will
be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at University United Methodist Church, Salina. Burial
will be in Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina. Memorials may be made to Loren Bogart
Scholarship Fund, in care of Diane Harmon, Raymore-Peculiar High School, Box 366,
Peculiar, MO 64078. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral
chapel. A visitation also will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at University United Methodist
Church, Salina.
